HI Lrperky

I think what your looking for is under Page Layout and Themes theres an option to Browse for themes if that's not it then I don't know.

The Options menu is on the Office Button (I think that's it's offical title) In the top left hand Corner. Next to the Exit excel you should see the Excel Options button, this includes most of the settings that where under Tools/Options but I couldn't see anything for colour's.

Hiya Chris,

I have just tried Page Layout, Themes, Browse Themes, but the Colour Scheme doesn't get picked up as an Office Theme & Themed Documents so it won't accept it. I changed it to All Files but nothing happened.

The Tools/Options way you mentioned I tried looking at earlier before posting as I tried looking on the net for help, but like you say I couldn't find anything for colours either.

I personally think that M/S Office 2000 was so much easier!!!

Thank you very much anyway though Chris.

I have just struck lucky.

If anybody else who has MS Office 2007 and has had the same problem then ensure the Colour Scheme is open, then:

1) Click on the Office Button (round button in the top left corner).
2) Click on Excel Options.
3) Select Save from the menu on the left.
4) Under the sub-heading Preserve visual appearance of the workbook click on Colors.
5) Where it has Copy colors from, use the drop down menu and select the colour scheme, and voila!

At last I now have the colours in that I desire. :D

I am creating my first Q mini, and when i test it everything works except the clue. When i am making my quiz, the template doesn't give me the option to insert my clue at the bottom. What do I do to make a clue for each question?

Hey
The one answer quiz template only has 60 question-answer boxes. How do I make it 100?

I would like to know the answer to this too. I am creating a quiz about Chess and would like it to be 64 Questions (one for each square of the board). So, how do I get a template that has 64 Questions please.

Somewhere on the template there should be a button to add another question.

I'm working on preparing a quiz. Like the last 2 people above I want it to have more than 60 questions. I've searched both pages of the template for a way to add questions to the template but can't find such a thing anywhere?

Is it currently possible to have more than 60 questions? If so can you give me more of a clue as to where to look please.

We did start discouraging larger quizzes for two reasons.
1. We are short of submissions and would prefer people to split a larger idea into two parts and make 2 submissions, e.g. Greatest Crochet Patterns Part 1 and Greatest Crochet Patterns Part 2
2. Testing larger quizzes takes more effort and we don't have enough time (or enough people helping) to effectively test large quizzes - whereas smaller quizzes require less effort.

That being said, it is still possible to create 100 answer quizzes. If you send me a private message via the forums, then I can send you the larger template.

Thanks Chris, I was going a bit mad looking for a way to add extra questions. I thought a button might appear somewhere when I had completed the 60th question.

I think I'll tinker around with the quiz I've prepared to get the number of questions and answers down to 60.

I have an idea for a different type of quiz - still in Excel - I think I will need a 100 answers for that or it will be too easy so I might send you a PM as well.

Thanks Graeme

It shouldn't be any different if you have Office. In what way can you not work it out?

No, to be honest it doesn't.

I've just tried now (I have Vista) and it works fine. I know this is probably a silly question, but are you are putting in the answers first? Once you have those in, you can add the images and then it should just be a matter of using the sizing handle to get them to fit ie you change the image size, not the cell size.

Having different operating systems won't (or shouldn't) make any difference to Excel.

There are sizing handles on every side and corner side of the image. You need to use the one on the bottom right-hand corner as that keeps the dimensions of the image correct. If you can't find it, look at the instructions here:

http://www.quizardry.com/tools/quiz_tutorial_v2.0.pdf.
