I'm stuck on quite a few - partial answers for 12 64 68 87
nothing for 22 28 42 61 69 77 79 80 85

Why do I get nothing for the orange animal that we're not allowed to hunt any more??? Am I missing something obvious?

You seem to be on the right track with that answer try pasting this clue to give you the answer.

Clue: has a pale grey, moist skin and a large, brown or yellowish shell

Hope this is OK

It's no good. I can't get it to work. :( I've even tried downloading a fresh copy of the quiz but still get the same problem.

Has anyone any ideas what to do? I want 100 points, not 99!

87

I'm sorry about this, I still had a copy that I had started with and 87 was OK with that but I've lost the copy I sent in, so I downloaded it and it wouldn't work, I'll keep trying and will let you know if I sort it out.

12

It has two names, this should lead you to both (It was farmed and eaten by the ancient Romans, from which it gains its name)

Sorry

Hello!

For #87 you need a colour before what you have (it's one of the colours the s**** is).

HTH!

Ok I give up. I've been trying to complete this quiz for the last year or so. I've just got a few more by sheer luck. This is without doubt the most difficult quiz I've attempted to date.

However #71 has beaten me. I've been to 5 or 6 butterfly identification or picture websites. I have entered the name of anything that looks even remotely similar to the picture and haven't even got a close.

I won't be beaten so I'm going to try them all again, but if anyone can give me a little help I would be most grateful

Thank in advance

Gray

Thanks Che,

Have just returned to this page to say that I've got it anyway by entering every single type of uk butterfly. I think the reason i didn't get it for the first 18 months of trying is that the picture on the butterfly identification site looks nothing like the picture in the quiz incluing no orange bits and no black spot on the wing.

Sorry Gray

I feel all guilty now causing you so much bother, a lot of the pic's were my own but I got the rest from Wilkipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speckled_Wood and this particular one is still on, it was one of my first quizzes I just hope its right I just thought it was photographed in a warm light.
